With over 20 years of experience in the pediatric services field, I have spent my career advocating for the well-being of children and their families. My professional background provided the foundation, but my life’s work found its true calling through a deeply personal journey. Today, I serve as an author, educator, and speaker, bridging the gap between medical expertise and the lived experience of the 'gift of life'.

A Mother's Journey

My perspective is shaped by two distinct worlds. For over two decades, I navigated the clinical and advocacy sides of pediatric services. But in 2019, I began a new chapter as a 'donor mom' after my son, Mikey, saved six lives through his final gift. This lived experience is what fuels my work today, taking the complex, often clinical world of transplantation and translating it into a language of hope and healing for families.

Today, I am honored to serve on the advisory board for the Nevada Donor Network and to partner with organizations like NATCO to share the story of 'Transplant Hope'. Whether through my children’s book, Mikey and His Mighty Heart, or my work in healthcare advocacy, I am dedicated to educating our community and fostering deep connections. I believe that even in our darkest moments, there is a path toward light and a way to grow together
